New Palace Hotel opened in Arusha
A new hospitality outfit will grace the beginning of the tourist high season in few weeks' time with the opening of the Palace Hotel in Arusha on 14th day of February 2014. It has got facilities like Bar, Restaurant, Rooms, Coffee Lounge, Conference Facilities, Business Centre, and Welness Spa & Gym to name afew.
The elegant and conspicuous Palace Hotel Arusha stands out against the backdrop of Mount Meru and amidst gardens located between the hotel and the magnificent historical buildings of Regional Commissioner Offices and the AICC, seat of the United Nations in Tanzania.
The ten-floor hotel has has added more structures to the changing skyline of Arusha city which is dominated by hotels and office blocks constructed mainly from tourism or gemstone earnings, located in Arusha’s central Business District, at an estimate of only 45 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport and 15 minutes from Arusha airport Kisongo the hotel is easily accessible.
Its opening comes only six months after the reopening of Mt. Meru Hotel after major refurbishment costing millions of dollars after being out of business since 2006.
The opening of the Palace Hotel increases the number of leading tourist-class hotels in Arusha and possibly competition for the market which appears not yet saturated.
